News : Winner IRO Oil & Gas Innovation Prize

This year Airborne Composite Tubulars won the prestigious Innovation Prize of the Association of Dutch Suppliers in the Oil and Gas Industry.

On Thursday 7 April 2011 the IRO Oil & Gas Innovation Seminar took place at the Shell Exploration & Production International Centre in Rijswijk. During this seminar four pre-selected companies presented their innovations and competed for the IRO Innovation Prize. The 130 participants at the seminar were asked to vote and Airborne Composite Tubulars came out as winner with flying colors with its ‘Novel Composite Pipe System as Service Intervention Line’! Hans de Boer, Managing Director IRO presented the IRO Innovation Prize to Martin van Onna, Managing Director Airborne Composite Tubulars during the network drinks at the Innovation Market.

 

 

Martin van Onna presented Airborne’s composite tubular technology with its first successful offshore operations. The prize is a welcome recognition of the industry for the dedication and perseverance of the Airborne team to develop and successfully introduce the innovative composite pipe technology in the demanding offshore environment.
